Are Veyla Home pet beds handmade?
Yes. Our pet beds are handwoven by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques and natural plant fibers.
What materials are the beds made from?
Depending on the design, our beds may include natural materials such as raffia, papyrus, banana fiber, and similar plant-based fibers.
Will my bed look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly. Because each piece is handmade, slight variations in color, weave, pattern placement, shape, and dimensions are normal and part of the character of the product.
How do I choose the right size?
Please review the measurements listed on each product page before ordering. Because the beds are handmade, dimensions may vary slightly from piece to piece.
Do the beds include a cushion or insert?
Only if the product listing specifically says one is included. Otherwise, the woven bed is sold on its own.
How long does shipping take?
For U.S. orders, please allow approximately 9–14 business days total for processing and delivery.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We currently offer free U.S. shipping on our pet beds.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We do not accept returns or exchanges. If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us with your order number and clear photographs of the issue.
What happens if my item arrives damaged or defective?
If you contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery and provide photo proof of a qualifying defect or damage, you may be eligible for a full refund on the affected item. Claims submitted between 15 and 30 calendar days after delivery may be eligible for a refund of up to 50%. Please review our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
What is considered a defect?
Damage from shipping or a manufacturing issue may qualify. Natural variations associated with handmade products — such as minor differences in color, weave, pattern placement, shape, or dimensions — are not considered defects.
Are the beds suitable for dogs and cats?
Yes. They can be used by both dogs and cats as long as the size and dimensions are appropriate for your pet.
How should I care for my woven pet bed?
Keep the bed dry and clean it gently as needed. Avoid soaking or machine washing the woven basket unless specific care instructions on the product page say otherwise. For dust or loose debris, use a soft brush, dry cloth, or gentle vacuum attachment.
Can pets chew or scratch the beds?
These are handcrafted natural-fiber pieces, so chewing and aggressive scratching can damage them. Damage caused by pets, normal wear, misuse, or improper care is not considered a product defect.
Where are the beds made?
Our handwoven pieces are sourced from artisans in East Africa, including regions in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi.
